35th Annual Jack Acker-Brian Purcell Memorial Second Chance Open to Benefit Covenant House NJ

On September 29th, New Jersey residents will take to the distinguished Forest Hill Field Club to combat youth homelessness at the 35th Annual Jack Acker-Brian Purcell Memorial Second Chance Open. This benefit was launched over three decades ago to raise critical funds for homeless kids at Covenant House New Jersey.  

ONLY 19 SPOTS OPEN FOR THE ING NYC MARATHON- Join the Home Team’s Fight Against Youth Homelessness!!

Covenant House’s Home Team has 19 openings remaining for the 2011 ING NYC Marathon, taking place on Sunday November 6th. Sign up by September 26th to secure your position as a runner for Covenant House. By participating, you’re not running only for yourself, but on behalf of those who have no voice of their own — homeless kids.

Prayers from Our Kids

How often do you get to listen to another person's prayer? At our Covenant House in New York City, there is a simple cloth-bound book that kids write their prayers in. Its contents are worth contemplating.

Orta Blu, the sustainability division of Orta, will be delivering “Jeans & Pizza” to kids at Covenant House New York on Sept. 2nd. During the event, youth from Covenant House New York will be able to select and try on their new pair of jeans as well as exchange an older pair of jeans if they would like, so they can be recycled and used for future programs.
