Casa Alianza Nicaragua’s Hilton Home and Home for Teenage Mothers took part in a two-week documentary making workshop, alongside 20 other children and teens from across Nicaragua.

For decades now, our
Casa Alianza staff in Mexico, Nicaragua, Guatemala and Honduras have been working to protect child victims of human trafficking-to prevent traffickers from operating in the region-and to collaborate in the prosecution of traffickers. In each country they work with government ministers, police, judges, prosecutors, religious groups, the private sector and civil society in multi-pronged efforts to combat the crime of trafficking.

On November 12, 2010 a raging fire broke out in our main
Casa Alianza Mexico facility destroying most of our administrative offices and one of our residences that had the capacity to house 50 boys. Thanks to the quick response and tremendous courage of our staff, no one was injured but we also had no idea how we would be able to continue to serve the 125 kids and teen moms we were sheltering every night.
