Busy Vacations for Our Kids

Guatemala, November 2011

While the girls at our residential center have been enjoying their vacations from school, we have been providing a variety of activities for them, including classes in music, computing, and English, and arts and crafts classes, where they have learned to design products out of recycled materials.

All of these workshops have been carried out by our very dedicated team at La Alianza, with groups of volunteers who are part of our new volunteer program. We are grateful to students and other neighbors for becoming part of our community and helping us in our work, and to the financial support of Casa Alianza offices in the United Kingdom and in Germany, which have helped provide all equipment to make these activities a success.
