Making the transition from the street to a residential center is an enormous challenge for most children and teens, which is why the Pre-Community stage is a critical bridge between life on the streets and life in one of Casa Alianza's residential centers.
Pre-Community is a day program where children and teens are able to come to Casa Alianza and participate in many of the same activities. They also receive many of the same services as our residential youth including hot meals, clothing, psychological support, support in controlling addiction problems to harmful substances, sporting and recreational activities, excursions, birthday party celebrations, as well as receiving information and workshops on sexual health, hygiene, and other important topics.
For many children and teens who will never be able to make the choice to leave the streets, Pre-Community care is the only help they will ever receive, and as such, Casa Alianza ensures they are provided with as much care and support as possible and made to feel part of the Casa Alianza family.
